Queer joy can feel like a scarcity. Anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has become an increasing threat, and even queer media tends to focus on stories of hardship and struggle. This artwork remedies this by illustrating a festive party scene of queer folk simply enjoying the moment. It is a celebration of queer identities and relationships. The act of existing is resistance enough.
